Topic: New I USE IT widgets

Those "I use it" widgets are nice, and I understand that they had to replace "Stack It"/"Unstack It" buttons when multiple stacks got implemented... but currently there is no way to distinguish on first glance whether I have project in one of my stacks or not.

    And what's with different colors?

Topic: Wrong "Compare Project Metrics" link on main page

"Compare Project Metrics" link in the Ohloh Resources section on Ohloh main page leads to "Programming Language Graphs"

    http://www.ohloh.net/languages/compare

    instead of using

    http://www.ohloh.net/projects/compare

    Topic: Introducing Ohloh Journaling

@Jason: It would be nice if Ohloh API was available on #ohloh IRC channel via ohlohbot, something like fsbot on #emacs channel,. I think that '!command' syntax would work on IRC channel (via IRC bot) too.

As to commands: project summary (perhaps first few lines of description) and project homepage, so one could check what is the project they talk about about.

    Topic: Stack Update!

Very nice feature. Is it meant for example to have "Programming stack", "Entertainment stack", "Browsing stack", "Document editing stack" or just "Home" / "Work" stacks?

There is one bug in editing stack name when using Mozilla 1.17.2, namely that backspace does not erase characters, so when entering new name the new stack name overlays old "New Stack 1" name.

Topic: Rescaling logos in list vs in project page

If the project logo is not square, it is treated differently in the project list: it is rescaled to fit keeping aspect ratio, and on the project page: it is rescaled to be square, severly distorting it.

    Compare http://www.ohloh.net/projects/search?q=epic with http://www.ohloh.net/projects/5178

Topic: IP links in "Recent Reviews" box

I have noticed this bug earlier, but it vanished so I didn't report it then. It appears from time to time in the bottom part (boxes at the bottom of home page)... for example now.

From the four boxes: "Ohloh", "New Projects", "Recent Posts", "Recent Reviews" only "Recent Posts" doesn't have IP links.

And forced reread fixed this issue... strange indeed...

Topic: IP links in "Recent Reviews" box

In the "Recent Reviews" and in the "New Projects" box, at the bottom of the main page, the links to individual reviews listed use (again) IP address instead of DNS name, e.g.
    http://207.115.86.98/projects/12638/reviews
    http://207.115.86.98/projects/12838

In the case of link to project it causes Google Map to be not displayed because Google Map API doesn't detect site as registered key.

Links in "Recent Posts" are strangely OK., e.g.

    Topic: The Cleanup

I like reduction of web2.0 clutter, but what I don't like is that borders between differents parts / boxes vanished, and it is much harder to gess which part given element belongs too: "too much air".

    Topic: Ohloh Goes Open Source

Very nice! I hope that Ohcount would get improved to include more esoteric languages due to community efforts; I hope that the SCMStat part of Ohloh code would also get published (and you could get Mercurial and Bazaar support from that).

BTW. what do you use for code browser in Trac (in Ohloh Labs)?
