Notepad++: Notepad++ Rocks my socks

I love coding in text editors. Notepad++ is a very responsive (no delay), tabbed text editor which runs solidly with virtually any input. I've opened hundreds of files at once, opened text files that are over a gig in size, etc., and Notepad++ always handles it.

The program even has customizable macros which you can bind to keyboard-shortcuts to perform repetitive tasks (like a default header for a file of a certain type, or a really ... [More] common loop you use). These become awesomely useful. I have macros for several languages where I just type the name of a function then hit my macro key and it turns that name into a basic function stub.

I've used this project for several years now to write millions of lines of code (primarily PHP). The thing almost never crashes and clearly has no memory leaks.
