I was just looking at the commits on the OpenPegasus project (http://www.ohloh.net/projects/3397/commits?sort=time_reverse&page=1) and I tried to filter by the one of the developers and it ... [More] displayed an empty list. I tried several other developers and get similar results. Is this a known problem? [Less]

I noticed that six of the seven of the projects I have waiting to be analyzed have download failures. I just tried starting downloads of two of them (JacORB and iTextSharp) and they started fine. Is there some sort of problem with downloads?

I got stuff from the 28th that hasn't been processed yet. I'm hoping the servers they said would hopefully be installed tomorrow will help...

Robin, As I posted in a different thread, RSS feeds don't seem to be very usable. They don't work with Firefox Live Bookmarks, with Onfolio's RSS reader, with the Google Reader or even as just plain XML in IE.

I thought about an email myself. That'd be very nice - right now I'm checking a couple of times a day.

I submitted the Apache Axis2 project. In the factoids for the project it says: "Some source code may be covered by the PHP License, which is incompatible with the GNU General Public License (GPL). ... [More] Some source code may be covered by the Apache Software License, which is incompatible with the GNU General Public License (GPL)." Yet, under licenses it only mentions the Apache license. Why the warnings about the PHP and GPL licenses when they weren't detected? [Less]

Can someone give me some idea about how the Estimated Effort statistic is calculated? (I realize the actual formula is likely to be proprietary) I've seen some things that make me question its ... [More] accuracy. For example, on the log4j project the person years for all the developers adds up to 15.5 years and the estimated effort is 11 years. Compare that to the JFreeChart project where the person years adds up to 5.4 years, yet the estimated effort is a whopping 33 years! Something doesn't seem quite right there. If someone could help me make sense of the estimations I'd appreciate it. [Less]

It'd be nice if there could be a default developer salary associated with an account. $55K is a little low for salary IMO and I'd rather take into account total cost (i.e. salaray + benefits). It's a nit, but it'd be nice

Some projects don't use a public repository for code, they only provide zips and/or tarballs. I realize it would not be possible to provide all of the information that Ohloh currently provides for ... [More] projects like this, but some information would be better than none. [Less]
