Dracut is a new initramfs infrastructure. Unlike existing initramfs's, this is an attempt at having as little as possible hard-coded into the initramfs as possible.

system-config-boot is a graphical user interface that allows the user to change the default boot entry of the linux system (grub).
DLDialog offers the capability to draw a variety of widgets. It includes a definition language similar to Tcl/Tk. It can display dialogs the tvision/ncurses interface or using graphical windows with the QT/X11 interface.
autorun automagically recognizes all available CDROMs in the system, mounts them upon insertion of a media and executes a possible autorun executable on the CD. The user can remove the media; autorun will call unmount after that.
