<body>The elusive Vexi 3.0 release grows closer by the day. All that is left is the #vexi website upgrade, polishing off and putting online the new documentation - we have a new javadoc-like generation tool - and some bug fixes. Throw in a couple of interesting demos and we'll be ready to really make a splash and do some marketing.</body>

<body>I finally sorted out the last outstanding issue in #vexi that was a blocker on a stable release, an overdue API change that had a significant impact on layout. With that done, just documentation and a glitzy website is all that is left and we can re-unleash #vexi on the world and hopefully get some users. We need a decent features page and demo, as well as a coherent argument for its benefits.</body>

<body>I spent a fair bit of time lately fixing a few long-standing issues with #vexi. Mainly I updated surface and visible traps to be consistent with general trap behaviour, and at the same time optimized them. It made a noticeable difference in the more complicated parts of the commercial application we are using.</body>

<body>I have spent a lot of time over the last year with Mike on polishing #vexi for use in a commercial project. Other than documentation, Vexi is in very good shape and would be a useful tool to anybody interested enough to try it. Without documentation, that's unlikely to happen so that is something I have to fix over the next few months.</body>
