Thanks a lot! That fixes it indeed.

hi, gstreamer (https://www.ohloh.net/p/gstreamer) was converted from cvs to git a while ago. This messed up the associations to people accounts. My account is ensonic ... [More] (https://www.ohloh.net/accounts/ensonic). None of my gstreamer commits are associated with me (Stefan Kost). If I click "I am this person" - I get an error "You already have a position on this project. Ohloh supports only one position per project. Edit the aliases table instead.". I don't see how the alias table can help me though. Any ideas? [Less]

On the webpage the license report looks like this: GNU Lesser General Public License 2.1 45 files GNU General Public License 2.0 17 files The License links to the license txt. What about trning the ... [More] "XXX files" into a link that shows a list of files? [Less]

Robin, It would be really really great to see that parsing fixed. Imho the whole license analysis is one of the most valuable feature ohloh provides, if it would be a bit more reliable. For me this ... [More] sounds like a one afternoon task. besides there wasn't any NEWS recently so this would fit perfectly. Please. [Less]

Most gnome project and definitely GStreamer uses one ChangeLog entry per commit and in that ChangeLog one can find "Patch by: " to show that this has been contributed by someone else that the committer.

I second that. And having experience in that is a good indicator for being a project maintainer.

What about differentiation between 'the projects codebase is expanding' (commits that add stuff) and 'the projects codebase is maturing/getting refactored' (its not growing a lot, but its changing). I ... [More] think the only fact that would be worth warning is a project with no commit for a year. If the commit ration is linearily decreasing over time, than a weak warning might be also okay. Too bad that bugtrackers have no standart API, because having a bugtracker with bugs filed, but no activity is also a good indicator for a dead project. [Less]

I don't have a good suggestion yet. I just would like small project not to appear dead. Maybe adding another statement that says something about recent commit activity. E.g. avg commits in the last year (dayly, weekly, ...).

Even though I am hacking on my project more that ever, I get this "Declining development activity" tag. I am basicly the only developer right now and this 'tag' does not really help to to attract new ... [More] developers. Would it make sense to have something like "Less development activity compared to last year, but stable for this year". Or maybe just "Less develoment activity". Declining sounds like an ongoing process, which I belive is not what you are meassuring. [Less]

the code report for my project [1] only lists 4 files with GPL and 4 files with LGPL. The project has much more files. [1] http://www.ohloh.net/projects/4451/analyses/latest
