In the about box I cannot use limited HTML but in other places I can use wiki style semantics. How about adding that feature to the about box?

In the 'Commit Timeline' it would be nice to see automatically generated entries from special occurances in the repository, like branch, tag (CVS) or new directory under release (SVN) and so on. Another thing that could be displayed is news entries. Maybe all with on/off button and eventually even the ability to combine with a project calendar, where projects can provide planning.

How about giving me an estimate on how much effort I put into open source? Maybe simply provide the metrics table per user so one can put in his current salary and see how much the effort is worth? This would be a fun tool especially for freelancers.
