Currently, it's impossible and impractical to write anything longer in the journal, and the concept seems to be expandable "beyond Twitter" :) I'd design it as follows: title \n text \n text (most clients support punching in newline) an option "Force journal with titles" "Force journal with titles" would, in case it's activated, alter the current behavior to: if title is specified, set the title to whatever is specified if title is not specified, set it to "ivucica's post on " Perhaps another option could be available and turned on by default: "Disable journal titles", in order to prevent someone with posting \n and being surprised with titles being turned on. September 15 in my Journal. I put apostrophe, a.k.a single quote, in the text. "We've released". Apostrophe turned into "undefined": "Weundefinedve released". Hope this helps.

I think I caught the bug when adding to iGoogle Homepage. This does not apply when adding to Google Sites, see below. When passing moduleurl parameter to fusion.google,com, you include "https://" ... [More] protocol prefix. When I removed "https://", it worked. Even if you put "http://", the prefix gets automatically removed by Google itself. Hope this helps! Original question whether we may post iGoogle gadgets to Google Sites and Google Pages remains. Here is an example: http://sites.google.com/site/yatcclient/ -- in Google Sites UI, I have went to "Insert"->"More..."->"Add by URL"->"http://www.ohloh.net/projects/yatc/widgets/projectbasicstats.xml". Hello again! Apparently it is not possible to post your widget code to a Google Sites page (I have not tried to do the same on Google Pages). However, there's an interesting alternative. Most of ... [More] your widgets make relatively little sense as personalized homepage, iGoogle, widgets. However as far as I know, it is possible to add the same widgets to GSites/GPages! Is this acceptable and permitted? Can I add the "iGoogle" widget to GSites/GPages? If it is acceptable, it might be cool to add textbox with this URL: https://www.ohloh.net/projects/XYZ/widgets/ABC.xml to the widgets page since that's the only way these widgets can be added to the aforementioned website hosts. On a related note, I appear to be unable to add the widgets for my project (ohloh name: yatc) even to the iGoogle homepage; the content simply doesn't show up. [Less]

Hey guys, I find the concept of journal amazing. Being able to post updates quickly and efficiently through an IM client is great. However, I feel a bit powerless with it. I thought of its RSS feed ... [More] to be a great way to post newsbits to our project's website. However, most RSS readers will display it in an unreadable fashion. Putting entire post content in the title is ... well ... making the whole concept useless to me ;) It would be great if we could use an additional formatting tag to separate title from content, perhaps even a newline tag. I am fully aware that this isn't meant to be a full-featured journal/blogging system, and that it's meant just for small updates. But, it has a potential to become just a bit more serious and useful with this new feature. So, would it be possible for you to introduce a new tag that would allow us to separate title from content, at least in RSS feeds?
