project left behind

Hi Keith, I apologize for this mishap. I don't know why it was left behind - but I've scheduled an update. I'll keep an eye on it to make sure it goes through.

download failure message unhelpful

I just deployed the formatting fix. We rarely see ordered lists -which is why we haven't fixed its nutty style yet. On to your main points: When the failed download was attempted. I've updated the ... [More] failure notice with some indication of when it occured.). The last successful update is viewable on the main project page - in the blue "Ohloh Analysis Summary" box. Look at the bottom right - in very small type. Hope this helps. [Less]

How are project search results sorted?

hi dartar, I made some changes to the search index/engine. The wiki search results seems better now. I'd appreciate some feedback on how I could improve the results.

Open Source Ruby Forum?

Hi fwd_NH, A very reasonable question, asked in a most agreeable way! We integrated the Beast source code into our project. We then re-implemented a different "look and feel" by applying our own css ... [More] (stylesheet). Looks like the beast homepage is down right now, but you still get at the source code here. A minor warning: it's somewhat tedious to merge the Beast code into your own rails project. It's not really Beast's fault - it's just that rails doesn't offer up an elegant to do that (yet?). -jay [Less]

Docstrings Still Not Counted

Greetings y'all. I'm sorry this hasn't been done yet - we're swamped for features/support and we're continually "behind" everything we want to see done on ohloh. However, all is not lost. I wanted ... [More] to remind everyone that since this original post, we've released the source code parser as open source. A docstring aficionado could clone the git repo (git://labs.ohloh.net/git/ohcount.git or http://wiki.github.com/robinluckey/ohcount). Find us on our irc channel (irc.freenode.net#ohloh) for code questions/ideas. When a proper patch is submitted, we'll integrate it into ohloh asap. Cheers! [Less]

eStudy not updated

hi Klaus, looks like we had trouble reaching the subversion enlistment at https://svn.mni.fh-giessen.de. I'll reschedule the job and keep an eye on it.

The Game Quasar - is it open source?

Hi lesnivila, The ohloh Quasar page claims that there is no public code. The sourceforge project page also show very little activity - it was created 4 years ago and then abandoned. Interestingly, it ... [More] was created by a user called 'solo123' - and there is also a "solo" on the ledermann site. I suspect its the same person. You might want to use the SourceForge page to mail the project owners - although 4 years is a long time - they might not check their mail anymore. Anyway - this is all I could discover. Good luck! I don't know much about this game. I followed your ..ledermann.de/quasar link, but couldn't find anything about being open source. [Less]
