Find the phpMyAdmin config file. Set permissions with chmod (man chmod or wikipedia chmod) If you set the right permissions to the correct file, you should be able to use phpMyAdmin.

Make the config file non-world writable?!

Workaround: You could use e.g. Firebug to give the div of the Google Map a higher width and height. Worked for me ;)
