Hello, The more recent redesigns seem to have left at least two pieces of information completely abandoned. The first one is a user's homepage link — I can't find it anywhere. The second one is ... [More] the positions page, which I find quite useful. Maybe it could appear in the left menu of user profiles? [Less]

Sounds fair. Subversion externals are currently handled the same way (intentionally or not), and from my experience these are often used to link to other projects, which I agree shouldn't be counted. ... [More] Plus, as you said, including them is easy if desired. So, good job, and again thanks for the fast response. [Less]

Yes, I just checked and it seems to use a subproject now that mspec has moved to its own repository. Well, thanks for the fast reply. Hope subprojects don't complicate the process too much.

Well, since there's a topic already open... :) The Rubinius project seems to be in error state for about a month now. Could you have a look at it too?

It seems I can't rate projects which have Ohloh URL Names. Undoing the URL name assignment makes it work again. A few days ago I had the very same problem regarding stacking projects, but that seems ... [More] to work now. When I click a rating star for Markdown, for instance, Firebug reports: POST http://www.ohloh.net/projects/5030/ratings 404 Instantly followed by: GET http://www.ohloh.net/projects/markdown/ratings?score=… 404 [Less]

As far as I know, for SVN Ohloh ignores any possible semantics of the structure, leaving that to you, which means it'll scan whatever path you give it entirely. I remember reading on some related ... [More] page to only register the project's trunk to save them some resources. So, once you do that, I think you can safely place anything you wish off the trunk and it won't be counted. [Less]

Actually, you can do that: just go to the project, click Edit, then Aliases.

I just made a Google search and found the same Ohloh result appearing three times: one from www.ohloh.net, one from www.ohloh.org and the highest-rated(!) from 207.115.86.98. Perhaps you should spend ... [More] some time trying to minimize duplicated content on search engines :) [Less]

Funny, I didn't notice the closed_source tag there. And it has been there for several months. I deleted the project then.
