When the original author of MadWifi, Sam Leffler, abandonned the Linux part of the driver, a small team of volunteers (including me) have stepped up to keep the project up and running. Since that time I've contributed a few lines of code, but most of my project-related work is administrative and includes the maintanence of the project's hardware resources (such as Web- and Subversion-server).
