Hello,
I thought this would be a common doubt so I googled it but I didn't find an answer for this. How do I change a project name?
I started organizing some university data on ohloh like I mention on other post. Soon I found out that there were two 'dead' projects with no enlistments or content are all on ohloh with the names I was using. I found it to be too much of a coincidence, and also who created it was the ohloh crawler along with other edits, not a single person on the history section is displayed. Is there any particular reason for this? (Does ohloh create other project searching the svn or something like that?)
The problem now is that the url I would use is taken, and I don't know how to change the project name to the one I want.
Thank you,
Carlos
Can you give me an example? Maybe there is something we can force. Changing project names is not something we like to make a habit of doing, but there are always exceptions.
Hi!
I'm managing the "eBox Platform" project and I've got a similar question as Carlo. "eBox Platform" changed its name to "Zentyal" about a month ago and if only possible, we would like to change the project's name to Zentyal (maintaining all the previous project data).
Is this as simple as changing the project summary (Project name, Ohloh URL name, etc.)? I already created a new "Zentyal" project in Ohloh, but if changing the project name will work, I would simply delete the Zentyal project and update the existing eBox Platform project.
Thank you in advance! Best,
Heidi
