Source code licenses

Ohloh doesn't detect my code license properly. I've updated to GLPv3 but in the project code statistics it says all files are under GPLv2. Ohloh has updated my project when it was already GPLv3 so that's not the problem.

Any idea?

Thanks.

Yes, this is a problem with our detector. It was written in the days before v3, and it's not very good at distinguishing versions of GPL. We have a bug ticket for this, but it will take us a while to get it fixed.

Cheers,

three months, guys ;) This project is having GPLv2 incorrectly detected http://www.ohloh.net/projects/10570 From what I can see, GPLv3 differs by a small number in the header -- v2=>v3, and by replacement of FSF's address by an URL :) If you're only reading first few lines, well, that's where the problem probably lies. So, what are you waiting, guys? :)

In my project's last commit I've added 8 new files and this ones are detected as being GPLv3, but the rest of the files are still marked as GPLv2. I suppose this is because Ohloh doesn't check changes in the license every time it's updates a project, but now that you've added a new license you should reset every project.
