I am wondering how long a new update will appear on the project's code statistic. Or how to update a project's statistics if we need to manually.
Since the original update, things may have change such as new developers, new code, etc. Hope my question is clear.
We're still trying to decide how often to update projects. Our goal is clear: to update projects daily. However our current hardware can't support that at this point. We'll make an announcement regarding our official policy on this soon, meanwhile "the squeaky wheel shall get the oil" (ie: let me know what you're interested in, i'll schedule an update ;-).
I was wondering about this aswell. I see that many projects were refreshed only a couple of days ago, but with SquirrelMail it's more than three months... is that normal?
why not let visitors of project pages schedule updates (if they feel the information is outdated) in order to reduce general load but restrict such user initiated updates to one per 24h? Similar mechanism as it is now with adding enlistments?

I like your idea of letting users schedule an update directly (while limiting it to once/24hrs) as an interim solution until we have enough servers/bandwidth to update all projects. I will add this feature to our list as high priority. Meanwhile I'll schedule squirrelmail...
