I have a project (http://www.ohloh.net/projects/3232) that says LOC is 19195, yet the graph on the same page peaks at roughly 35000 LOC. The language analysis says it's almost 100% C#, so what happened to the remaining 16000 LOC not included in the total?
A similar discrepancy can be found for project id 3233.
Is there an explanation for this discrepancy, or is it an indexing bug?
Yours, Morten
Hello, Morten,
The 35,000 figure you see in the graph includes all comments and blank lines.
The 19,195 figure quoted in the project cost is for the actual code only, excluding comments and blank lines.
I admit that this is not entirely obvious, and we'll look at improving the explanations on the project page.
Thanks,
Robin
