It would be great if one could claim more than one committer nick for one project. I've done some work on a repo as another user and ATM there's no way to assign those commits to my ohloh account.

You can, though it's a little bit roundabout:
Btw - we already know how lame this is. Someday we'd love to make the "aliasing" feature automatic.
Ok, I followed your instructions and it kind of worked. I assigned two users to one main user (Jonas Kramer). Now that user has the commits of the other two users. However, in the contributors list there are two Jonas Kramers now, the Jonas Kramer with the commits and another one with 0 commits (assigned to my account). When I go to the first Jonas' page and click on "I am that user", I'm just redirected to the aliases page of my project, which doesn't really help. What can I do? The roject is shell-fm, if you want to have a look.
Hi Jonas,
Almost certainly what happened is that you assigned the two users to one name, and then associated your account with a different user name.
The result is that the two users show as a single merged contributor with lots of commits, and then your account is also listed below that, with 0 commits.
In the "experience" section of your account page, click the "edit" link next to the project. In the form that comes up, change the committer name to match the name you chose for the merged users.
If this still leaves things screwy, just let me know and I'll get it all straightened out.
Thanks, Robin
