I just noticed that we can have easy-to-link names for our projects now (ohloh.net/project/name instead of /project/1234567). Would it be possible to do the same thing for people's accounts? Perhaps keying them to the name we use to log in with?

This is actually pretty likely to happen, and soon. We are working on some new account features, and the account login will start to have some new uses. Custom account URLs shouldn't really be that difficult.
One of the problems we're facing is that we've been pretty liberal about letting people choose whatever login name they wanted, since it isn't really used for anything but login. This unfortunately means that many peoples' logins are (private) email names or strings that are incompatible with URLs. We'll need to sort this out first.
