"Bogus account, uncorrect project information"

A Firebug developer pointed out to me that Ohloh thinks the top contributor to the Firebug project is jenny99: https://www.ohloh.net/p/firebug/contributors/20658792788466

However jenny99 does not contribute to Firebug and, as you can see on that page, the commits associated with jenny99 are actually mine.

We'll get that fixed. Sorry for the confusion.

Should be fixed now. Also, claim these https://www.ohloh.net/p/firebug/contributors/20660940293140

Kudos should be updated shortly.

sarah4u is currently listed as manager of Firebug, which seems like a spam account to me. Actually John J. Barton left the Firebug team recently. See https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/firebug-working-group/GNCZeL1eWq8. So the current head of Firebug is Jan 'Honza' Odvarko (https://www.ohloh.net/p/firebug/contributors/20660940294573). Would be great, if that could be changed.

Sebastian,

I have removed the "spam" account. Please contact Jan 'Honza' Odvarko or any other member of the Firebug team and encourage them to assume responsibility for the project on ohloh.

Thanks!

Thanks for responding that fast! I am part of the Firebug team. I just thought you could already do that. I will write Honza to assume responsibility. I guess he needs to register via https://www.ohloh.net/p/firebug/managers, right?

Sebastian,

He'll need to set up an ohloh account and then "Register me as a project manager for Firebug". Once that is done, he can request that Mr. Barton be removed if needed.

Thanks!

Exactly that was what I was thinking of. He already registered now. So if you don't mind, John could be removed from the list of managers.

Sebastian,

I have approved Honza and that is what I can do for right now. I'm a little mystified, but I've been unable to remove John just now. I'll check on this and get back to you...

Thanks!

I'm still seeing John as manager. Could it be, that there's a problem with his two different accounts? I see him at https://www.ohloh.net/accounts/johnjbarton and also via https://www.ohloh.net/p/firebug/contributors/20660940293140.

I just wanted to point at this again. John is still listed as manager Firebug with 0 commits.

It's now already a year since the last message of you and John is still listed as manager of Firebug.

As mentioned before Jan Odvarko is the manager of Firebug since last year.

Can something be done about this, finally?

Sebastian,

I see Jan as the sole manager of Firebug here: https://www.ohloh.net/p/firebug/managers

Let me know if the listing is different somewhere else.

Thanks!

Hi,

he could fix that yesterday. Though we're wondering why he's listed with 0 commits. I think it's the wrong account. His main contributor accout is https://www.ohloh.net/p/firebug/contributors/20660940288266 while the one I see in the managers list is https://www.ohloh.net/accounts/odvarko. How to fix that?

Sebastian,

Once confirmed, you can create an alias: https://www.ohloh.net/p/firebug/aliases to tie the two identities together. Many ohloh members use a different e-mail address here than the one they use for commits.

Thanks!

P.S. It looks as if this has been done already?
