On the JUnit front TPTP is not a JUnit replacement, but when it comes to integrating and having a repeatable test environment TPTP provides a good base to brew my own mix of test support for execution and reports etc..
I have found the quick record and playback support for the URL test very useful and a unit test as well as to create quick meaningful load tests.
The Java profiler and various resource monitors for remote applications is also great with distributed Java applications.
All that goodness said the TPTP weakness is scalability. Huge amounts of data bring it to it's knees, and once the project addresses this there will be no comparable tool framework IMHO.
