Boon to Small and Medium enterprises

Great CMS system and ready for critical deployments in Small and Medium enteprises. Very cute and powerfull UI with very good architecture to customize. However this still needs lot of development efforts to provide more rich features.

Great Architecture
by ronnyt
Alfresco, though not functionally equivalent (yet!) to the legacy players, is evolving at a rapid pace. The architecture is state-of-the-art, building upon a Java/Spring backend, and a webscripts front-end API. TCO is much better, and the system is open and standards based, unlike the closed source offerings residing in the right Gartner quadrant.
