Just got an account on a box with PHP5 and MySQL 5 installed, and put Simplog 0.9.2 through its paces. It worked without any modifications, so I\'ll put my official stamp of approval on supporting php5 and mysql 5.

By the way, if you\'re ... [More] looking for some free hosting to do some development work or experimentation, my good buddies Dan and Russ at t just give out accounts to everyone, just serious developers who have an actual need for hosintg. [Less]

Slowly but surely, 1.0 is coming along. I think we've developed a nice modular and exstensible framework to build the application with. It is designed so that all functionality outside of authentication and the permissions system can be dropped in ... [More] as a module, so we\'ve basically created a new standalone application framework to build Simplog on top of.

Once the app framework is finished, we can start building the core modules and then publish some API doc so anyone can write modules for Simplog. :) [Less]

At last!

There's a beta ready for the masses!

http://www.simplog.org/simplog-0.9.2beta1.tar.gz

I'd like to think that we've got all the bugs squashed, but of course, that's why this is just a beta and not the final ... [More] realease. :)

The only thing not finished is updating the documentation to relect the new functionality. Please report any bugs you find in the bug reporting area

Please don't install this over you exisintg blog until we make the final release.....

thanks [Less]
