Commit Comment: Fixed an issue where passing an empty list of @ids in lookup_multi
or a void $id in lookup would confuse get_driver() because this code
ref needs some data to determine the partition, and it would die if it
cannot determine it.

In the case of *no idea* no need to be a genius to get that the result
will be the empty set.
