I’ll post this here, because I haven’t got around to putting a Twitter status on this blog yet (in fact I’m planning on changing the theme anyway, yes again) so it’s easier to put a status update in a short blog post.
You will have noticed that I haven’t posted the StayPress downloads yet. I’ve got [...]
I feel the need for some light relief and a bit of coding “fun”. So if you’re a developer and fancy yourself as a bit of a “zen master”, then pop on over to wpmu.org and take on my challenge.
I’ve set things going for you. The bar is pretty high in my (humble) opinion. My [...]
As, thankfully despite the delays, a lot of people are still eager for updates and news, I am going to start posting at the beginning of each week the planned schedule of releases and updates.
Over the past few weeks a large part of my time has been taken up with development on a new system [...]
We’re in the middle of a move to a new layout and server. If you have followed a link in from another site and received a very unhelpful 404 Not Found error then you may be a bit annoyed to realise that the content you are looking for isn’t here anymore, or hasn’t made it’s [...]
In the spirit of being nice, kind and considerate, I thought I would take a few minutes to pass on the following warning.

HyperDB is a replacement for the standard WPDB class which adds the ability to use multiple databases. HyperDB supports partition of data as well as replication.

Warning: This plugin is quite capable of stopping you from accessing your WordPress administration panel. If it does, then you will need to FTP into your server and remove the sp_administration folder and it’s contents from your plugins directory.
I am in the process of packaging up this early beta version of the StayPress administration plugin. I will post a notice on here and on Twitter when it is available for download. Whilst I’ve been playing with it, tweaking and bug fixing all week, it should be considered for the brave only at present.
It [...]
