This project has a solid base and good opportunity for progression. While the community may appear to occasionally be stiff, they are helpful and warm after first glance. The website, wiki, source, and other available resources make extending or using the project rather easy.

For the user, this project compiles smoothly, configs with relatively little task, and is provided with roughly 90% solid documentation. Bugs are usually documented and fixed quickly.

For the developer, this project is easy to extend, tear away with customization, and convert to other standards without much pain or protest. Community development support is quick, helpful, and knowledgeable.

ArcEmu is my number one choice and recommendation for WoW emulation engines.

Altough this project is a good one generally IMO. It has lots of issues that need to be addressed.
