Kohana is a PHP5 framework that uses the Model View Controller architectural pattern. It aims to be secure, lightweight, and easy to use.
Kohana 2.2 is part of the GoPHP5 initiative.
Kohana is licensed the "new" BSD license, but also uses:
- a port of phputf8 (LGPL)
- popoon's externalinput (Apache 2.0).
This project is managed by Woody Gilk.
