The MOSS 2007 Open Calais Integration automatically adds semantic metadata and intelligent search capabilities to content pages on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007) content management web sites.
Calais is a Thomson Reuters* initiative that supports the interoperability of content and the company's mission to deliver pervasive, intelligent information. The Calais Web service enables commercial and non-commercial developers, publishers and content consumers to automatically metatag the people, places, facts and events in content. The open Calais API and developer community is at www.OpenCalais.com.
