      <description>The Rio Substrates project is a sub-project of the Rio Project, and provides building blocks for common architectural patterns and capabilities. This project has been created to encourage community support and contribution to the area of substrates. Currently, the following are substrate capabilities are available:
JavaSpace support
Provides an implementation of Space based Command patterns
Provides ready made JSBs as part of the distribution with administrativeservice UI support
CORBA Support
Provides the capability for a JSB to implement support for both RMI(JERI) and RMI/IIOP objects. JSBs contain a Servant Class providing support for CORBA using the Portable Object Adaptor (POA)</description>
