Taking the KISS principle very seriously, awesome offers a fantastic blend of configurability and speed, offering all the features I want, no more and no less. Never before have I used such a brilliant window manager.

Awesome and GNOME

Thanks to Julien, awesome-next now has better support for nautilus desktop and GNOME desktop applets. It is now very well integrated into my beloved desktop. Et ca c'est G..nial!

this wm is ridiculous

Switching from wmii, I found plenty of speed, configurability, and plain awesomeness. It took a transition from bash to lua, but it was worth it.
