i wrote this professor rating system to learn PHP and MySQL. there is a working implementation at http://bobcat.hungrychild.org which has over 300 registered users. i am releasing this for free under the MIT license. i have pretty much ceased development, but am opening the source so others might be able to use it as a learning tool or build upon it and make it better.

i plan on rewriting this application with ruby on rails. separating the application logic out of the display code has become blatantly obvious to me now, and ror will be able to provide that to this project.
