Project Summary

The Broken House is the name of a heavy and highly literary role-playing guild in the game World of Warcraft. Having specific needs, the guild began development of code to support their collaborative website.

We're now happy to share the fruits of this labor as open source. The Broken House Project here on Google Code develops add-ons to the Plone content management system and the Zope application server in the Python programming language, linked with the World of Warcraft Armory. These add-ons provide features generally needed by players participating in a massively-multiplayer online role-playing game guild, specifically for World of Warcraft, but with the potential for extensions.

Features of these add ons include:

Look and feel for fantasy role playing or other milieux Guild membership applications Associate applications for membership Screen shots and other image galleries Calendaring Collaborative workspaces Role-based security for officers of the guild Integration with data providers such as the World of Warcraft Armory
