Cakepress aims to be a developer-friendly replacement for Wordpress.

Project Goals:Match Wordpress feature for feature. Provide more coherent framework for adding custom or 3rd party features Provide the ability to work as a simple CMS without extensive hacking. Work as a skeleton application for CMS and/or Blog sites wishing to utilize CakePHP as their framework of choice. Features planned for the first release:In its first release it will provide basic support for:
