Hemos decidido organizar Chamiluda Madrid 2013, el Día Internacional de los Usuarios de Chamilo, en Madrid, los días 17 y 18 de octubre de 2013.

Hi Chamilovers, we are very happy to invite you all to the next Benelug meeting on Friday 21st June ... [More] 2013!

The meeting will take place in the center of Ghent, the Arteveldehogeschool (thanks Frederic). A sandwich lunch will be provided (thanks again Frederic!).
 

We will start at 9:30am and will finish at 3pm.

Tram 1, direction Wondelgem or Evergem, will take you from Sint-Pietersstation to the center of Ghent, at the doorstep of the meeting room. Get off at the stop of the 'Sint-Niklaasstraat' and walk from there via the 'Emile Braunplein' and the ' Stadhuisstee'g to the campus in the Hoogpoort.
Cars can park in the parling lot under the Vrijdagsmarkt (2 min. walk to the meeting room from there).

Chamilo LCMS Connect 3: New release!

Dear user, as you might know, here at Chamilo we currently have two branches: Chamilo LMS and Chamilo LCMS Connect. This piece of news is related only  to Chamilo LCMS Connect exclusively. Both branches have independent releases and both the ... [More] LCMS and the LMS teams will keep publishing new releases for each branch.

This being said, this week the new Chamilo LCMS Connect  3 is released.
Codename: ‘Bradypodion’:  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bradypodion).

After a test run of nearly a year in several institutions  the release is finally a fact.

The basic concept is connectivity:
   - connect with your favorite sites on your adaptable homepage
   - publish your content in an LMS
   - collaborate with peers

Free software is a great gift which benefits all users. It condenses the effort of hundreds of ... [More] people who selflessly contribute for others to enjoy an advanced technological system for online training as Chamilo.

But if all people that contributes stop doing so, and only users remain... then free software model does not work. We should all give something to continue growing, otherwise we all lose. Schools from socially and economically disadvantaged areas lose,  the small and medium enterprises that will not have otherwise capacity to buy expensive private online training systems lose, hundreds of social projects that use Chamilo to distribute their training lose ... This is why we ask for help.

There are hundreds of ways for you to collaborate (will tell you in another post) but today we beg you help for the bugfixing marathon.
