Project Summary

A diesel engine may run on its primary fuel (diesel) but can be modified to run on a much cheaper alternative (veg oil). At current the switch between fueling systems is applied manually once the fuel is at set temperature. The fueling system must be flushed with its primary fuel before the engine is stopped. This project has been created to control the automation of the switch between fuels when the following criteria are met:

secondary fuel is at set temperature car is > 1 mile from the parked destination

The idea is that the fuel type is changed when the temperature of the secondary fuel is met; is switched back to the primary fuel to flush the system 1 mile from the destination.
