Version 6.53 of the Citadel server is now available. This point release is simply a rollup of some bug fixes and performance enhancements from the last few weeks.

Version 6.10 of WebCit is now available. WebCit is the middleware program that puts a web-based front end on the Citadel system, and also provides GroupDAV support for connecting popular open source client software.

This version contains ... [More] various minor user interface improvements, and some significant bugfixes to its SSL support. In particular, support for chained certificates and SSLv3/TLSv1 is now working properly. [Less]

WebCit 6.11 is now available for download, either here on the website or via Easy Install. This is a minor update which fixes an issue with the calendar, task list, and address book. If you are experiencing peculiar behavior when using Citadel with third party PIM clients, please download and install this update.

Johannes Schneider has completed a plugin for Multisync that provides connectivity to the Citadel system using GroupDAV. You can read the announcement here, or you can download the plugin here.

What this means in practice is that you can ... [More] synchronize your address book, calendar, etc. between Citadel and any device supported by Multisync. That includes Palm devices, Pocket PC, Opie, Zaurus, and many others. [Less]
