After a lot interesting discussions at the Eclipse Summit we recognized that we have more to offer to the Eclipse community than just e-commerce solutions. We are currently discussing a change to our project scope. Please read on for our new proposed

An important step is done. CloudFree has passed the creation review on October 8th. Now CloudFree has official project status on eclipse.org, giving us better support and recognition.

Shop owners, who are new to e-commerce and want to enlarge their range to customers online, are often afraid of the implementation and handling of administrative e-commerce shop systems. Therefore the main goal should be simplicity.

What is CloudFree?
CloudFree is an open source e-commerce platform, which will be the base for several services, for example storefronts and customer management. Extensibility and dynamic will be realized by using Equinox / CODA and its advantages.
