Cotton is:
A specification for a template language, designed for ease of use by non-programmers (limited language domain, easy-to-read, does not interfere with HTML, very simple syntax). A specification for a parser interface, designed for ease of use by programmers (minimal code boilerplate, never look at HTML again, designed to fit into any framework that allows a custom parser). An actual parser, written in Python, which implements both of the specifications above. This project covers both of the specifications, the parser implemented here, and as much advice as I can gather under one roof (at the moment, it covers building a very simple, standalone framework under Apache2 and mod_wsgi).
