A nice native gecko browser for GNOME.

    by Halleck

Very functional, if a bit crash-prone and lacking a few crucial features such as a search box. The tabbed browsing implementation is very nice, although tab focus should be more adjustable. Bookmarks are stored in categories instead of a folder hierarchy and are sorted alphabetically, which I find to be pretty useless. After a bit of poking around I figured out how to make a bookmark bar with drop-down folders like I'm used to. Overall a decent ... [More] and very fast, lightweight gecko browser akin to Camino on Mac OS X. This is becoming my preference over the increasingly bulky Firefox (Iceweasel) on Linux. It even has some extensions. Love Epiphany

  by mohanjith

Epiphany is user friendly, light and fast. It caches better than Firefox. I also like their non obstructive UI.

I like the feature where web search, bookmark search and URL bar is all in one, and still works smoothly.

Bookmarks are arranged in a more human manner with topics and they are easily accessible through the URL bar. History is also unfriendly.

Epiphany developers have a good job in creating a user friendly ... [More] browser based on gecko and will respect GNOME themes.

But for development Epiphany is not the best because Javascript console is missing and viewing the source requires extra effort.

I prefer Epiphany over Firefox for browsing. [Less]

Less Leaky

    by Nathan Myers

Epiphany is heir apparent to Galeon, but still lacks some important features. It's about equally as crashy, but much faster. It's less leaky than Firefox/Iceweasel.
