Project Summary
A web portal is provided to the travelers to Hong Kong. The web portal includes different information for the travelers such as weather forecasting, public transportation, famous tourist attractions, etc. These kinds of information aid the tourists to get around in Hong Kong easily.
Instead of administrators providing information, tourists can also share their experience in the web portal. For example, they can share what they did and met in the visit in the way of photo blog or video blog. An interface which based on the Google map is used to show the entries of the blog. By clicking the thumbnail on the blog, user is redirected to corresponding page. Others can plan their own trip which refers to those photo blogs or video blog. In another word, travelers can search by criteria to retrieve relative route or trip.
