A nice little operating system

Rave from a Ubuntu-convert

After the disappointment of Ubuntu 8.10 "Intrepid Ibex"'s lack of killer features, I tried other distros to see what they had to offer.
Of all the ones I tried (this included Mandriva 2009, openSUSE and Linux Mint) Fedora 10 came out on top. It's installer looks beautiful and is easy to use. Graphics support for the advanced Compiz settings can be sketchy with some cards, but all in all it's a great Ubuntu competitor. It seems faster
