The venue and date for the next edition of the Brazilian Firebird Developers Day (FDD) is now defined. The conference will be in Piracicaba-SP, at Unimep (same place as the previous editions), in 23/July/2011. More information will be published in May, at the conference site.

You do not know what is that? Well, InterBase and Firebird allow specifying connection parameter that will disable garbage collection by statements in this connection. This is the same as the option -g for gbak. And, of course, all other connections without this parameter will continue to try collecting garbage in the database, if any.

Here is the chage log so there will be no need to add stable Firebird 2.5 ppa in Ubuntu Natty just follow the install instructions. Thanks to Damyan and all who contributed to solve this sync bug
