Notice: This project is no longer supported.I recommend using Jeffrey Friedl’s new Lightroom 2.0 Geoencoding plugin.Available here: http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/gpsThis project installs menu items into the Adobe Lightroom interface that allows photos to be tagged with geographic information through the Lightroom interface.
Locations are read from the standard GPX file format and exif information is stored in the image files using Phil Harvey's exiftool.

Current Version:Download: Version 0.1.0
Features:Sync photo to GPS using picture of GPS display Interpolate location between track points Add geotags to original images or save to new location Installation:Copy the entire geotag.lrdevplugin directory to the following location:
(Vista) C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules (XP) C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules (Mac) /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Modules
For Windows users, the exiftool executeable is included with the plugin.

InstructionsWarning! Make sure you GPX logs have time data recorded, or this plugin won't work. Several users have reported that some GPS models and software do not save time data with GPX files by default.
Two new items are added to the File menu:
Geotag Photos Select the photos you want to tag in the main Lightroom interface then choose this menu item. A dialog is presented that allows you to choose the GPX file for location information and the destination settings.
Sync Photo to GPS This item allows you to match the timestamp of your GPS unit with the timestamp recorded by your camera. First select a picture of you GPS showing the time in the main Lightroom interface.
Ohloh computes statistics on FOSS projects by examining source code and commit history in source code management systems. This project has code locations but that location contains no recognizable source code for Ohloh to analyze.
