glFusion v1.2.2 Patch Level #3 Updates

We have identified and fixed a few additional issues in glFusion v1.2.2 so we are releasing patch level #3 to address the following issues:

 

Ensure the database password is properly masked prior to logging to error.log ... [More] during DB backup Forum Plugin: Fixed error where some autotags did not display properly in forum posts Forum Plugin: Convert story to forum post did not properly handle topic selection Story edit permissions allowed anyone with story.edit feature to edit stories 

To simplify the installation of this patch level release, we have packaged all the updated files into a single archive. Download the glFusion-1.2.2.pl3-delta.zip file and copy the files to your server. There is no need to run the upgrade wizard.

All glFusion users should upgrade as soon as possible!

Custom Profile Plugin Updated

The Custom Profile Plugin for glFusion has been updated to version 1.1.2 and is available for download now.  This is a maintenance release to address a few issues with version 1.1.1.  The only new feature is the addition of a new ... [More] "account" field type which creates a dropdown list of user accounts to associate with a user, and the addition of a system variable to hold an optional parent account.

 

The Parent Account field is intended to group accounts in the case of family or group memberships, and will be used by the upcoming Subscription plugin to update all related accounts if the subscription type requires it.  This field can be left disabled if it is not used.

 

The installation and upgrade from 1.1.1 process has been tested, but as always you should back up your database before attempting an upgrade. [Less]

PayPal and Subscription Plugins Updated

Custom Profile Plugin 1.1.1 Now Available

 The Custom Profile plugin has been updated to version 1.1.1 and is available for download.  This version contains some minor fixes and new features, including:

A field may be selected as the default for sorting membership ... [More] lists The membership list can now display user avatars. A Textarea field type has been added Fields are no longer validated when a user is being added by an administrator The selection values are now created correctly for Dropdown fields A new "viewall" privilege is added to allow certain users to view all membership information regardless of the member's privacy setting. 

Please refer to the original release notes for more information and, as always, have a current backup of your files and database.  In version 1.1.0 the original profile values table was deprecated, and during the upgrade to this version the table is dropped. [Less]
