Components (Python Eggs):1. The ibm_db Python Egg contains: 

ibm_db driver: C extension module which wraps IBM Data Server Driver for ODBC and CLI APIs and provide a Python client interface to DB2 and Informix IDS databases. ibm_db_dbi: Python coded module relying on ibm_db Python driver and complying to DB-API 2.0 specification 2. The ibm_db_django: Python coded adapter implementing the Django 1.1 specification APIs. For more information click here. 

3. The ibm_db_sa: Python coded adapter implementing the SQLAlchemy 0.4 specification APIs

UpdatesUCS-4 Support 

UCS-4 support has been released with ibm_db-1.0 version. 

Django 1.1 and ibm_db_django support 

Django Project made a release of Django 1.1 on July 29th 2009.  The latest adaptor ibm_db_django-0.1.4 has been released. Please see  Readme for further information.
