Version 5 is realy great

I worked with Jahia since version 4, wich was a nice tool but not a robust and poweful CMS. Since de jahia 5 version has been released things have changed a lot and my opinion is that Jahia is now playing in first ligue, not just pretending likealfresco or other solutions wich are just frmeworks and absolutely not "ready to use" as Jahi is.

In version 5 I appreciated a lot some new features
- the full XML support (jsr 170 ... [More] compatibility)
- the portal compatibility (jsr 168)
- the capacity to build complex infrastructure (clusters, processings servers, cache servers
- some little features like "cut and paste" between pages and the content picker tool, this one isreally impresive. Some of my customers have a SSO mechanism with thousands of authenticated users and I had no big problem to deal with that, the onlykey factor is to get enough RAM (I recommand 64 bits wityh 4Go or more for big sites. 1 or 2 Go is enough for a normal site)

and the most important for me : I was able to develop complex sites in days, or weeks compared to monthes with other languages or applications I use also (php, phyton,),

There are still improvements necessary edition performances, variety o built in templates and documentations, but my global opinion is very good andI think it's a great CMS. [Less]
