Project Summary

Analyzed 8 days ago based on code collected 8 days ago.

What started as a simple effort to recreate the battle system from the Nintendo Entertainment System version of Final Fantasy has continued to grow into a full rpg engine and development suite for NES styled RPGs.

The engine is modeled to be very simple, capable of drawing frame-strip animations, wandering tile-based maps, and fighting. While it may seem aesthetically limited, there are no actually no real limitations in place with the standard image being 32-bit png and music in mp3 format with JLayer. Additionally, new enemies, NPCs, Maps, Tilesets, and Jobs can be added with ease with the included Tool Kit.

Experience the joy of games that play like FF1 but with a whole new world to explore.
