    Refactoring of JBoss deployment: Delete & recreate your jboss target platform [by marco]

    Announcements:: Refactoring of JBoss deployment: Delete & recreate your jboss target platform
    Hello *,

    after you updated your workspace, it will have many compilation errors. That's because the packaging changed.

    Since the ... [More] Rhino (JavaScript) library has moved to a separate project, you have to checkout the following new projects from SVN:

    * NightLabsRhino
    * NightLabsRhinoEAR

    Afterwards, you should delete your server target platform: Go into the project "target-jee-jfire-max-jboss", refresh it and then delete the folder "target".

    Don't forget to delete the databases, too.

    And finally run the "build.xml" & refresh the project again.

    Since the compile error markers in Eclipse are a bit sticky, you'll probably have to select all projects, refresh & clean them. [Less]

    Redeploy your JBoss target platform! [by marco]

    Announcements:: Redeploy your JBoss target platform!
    Hello *,

    already a few days ago, I added some options to the default jdbc-connection-url for MySQL to make sure that all dates are written into the database in UTC (rather than the ... [More] server's local time). Unfortunately, I forgot to announce here that you must redeploy your server target platform, because otherwise you'll still use the old templates.

    Since the options render XML invalid, if they're not escaped, the new templates use "<![CDATA[...]]>" to ensure the XML stays valid.

    To redeploy the templates, you look for the project "target-jee-jfire-max-jboss" and right-click on it's "build.xml". Then select "Run as" => "Ant build".

    Best regards, Marco [Less]
