jMemorize 1.2.0 preview

Stats help me in motivating and assessing myself. So I’ve added more of them to jMemorize. Here’s just a quick preview of a new session history window in jMemorize 1.2.0. It’s not final yet, so don’t wonder about the strange values of the yellow line. I hope you like it.

A user testimonial

I received a very kind E-Mail by Chris H. Nuechtern. This is the kind of feedback that drives the development of jMemorize.

I am writing this email to you for two reasons.
Firstly, to commend you on the work you have done with jMemorize. I did not think that it would be possible for me to be [...]

Developers Mailing List

I’ve come to realize that there is one fact that gives jMemorize incredible potential in comparison to a lot of other competing flashcard learning tools. It’s the fact that it’s open source. I’ve already received a lot of helpful patches and language translations in the past two years, yet at the moment about 95% the [...]

jMemorize 1.1.0

The new version is out! A lot of work went into improving the import functionality. You can import to the current lesson instead of having to create new lessons and you’re now able to set the specific character set of the imported file. You can also import from other lesson files now. The chart panel [...]

Java 1.5_8

If you’re using Sun's Java 1.5_8 you’re probably experiencing a weird toolbar spacing in jMemorize, which makes the toolbar take up too much horizontal space. This is a bug in Java. Simply update to a newer Java version and you should be fine again.

jMemorize 1.0.0

The final 1.0 release is out! This version contains two bug fixes from jMemorize 1.0rc2. I’ve decided not to include new features, since I want to have this really stable release, before adding new features again for version 1.1.0. If you’re still running on 0.9 this is definitely the time to upgrade. See the changelog [...]

Changelog

If you’re wondering what’s already been implemented into the current development version, you can grab it from SVN or now also check the updated changelog. The list only shows completed stuff and I will try to keep that list up to date. There are still some more features coming until the next release: I also [...]
