Kalisko is a free modular application framework written in C.
Its modular architecture allows applications to be built from several individual components. It also supports loading as well as unloading modules at runtime, which reduces the memory footprint to a mimimum and enables updating parts of an application while it is running.
Kalisko is cross-platform and was tested on Windows, Linux and FreeBSD operating systems. A set of test suites included with the build-in test framework ensures a robust and stable API.
There are already many modules available and new ones get added regularly.
