Project Summary

Analyzed 4 days ago based on code collected 4 days ago.

Need to practice somewhere away from a keyboard? Don't like tuning forks? The keyboard piano is for you.

Written in Python and dependent on Qt4, PyQt4 and pyportmidi. If there's demand I might try to reduce dependencies, that shouldn't be too hard.

Usage: Q and Z are C3 (middle C) and C4. Start in shell: python piano.py, and choose an appropriate midi channel.

Please post your experience in the wiki page, so that I know what to improve and how. Thanks.
